Psalms 9:13-20

13Be gracious to me, O Lord; See my affliction from those 1who hate me, You who 2lift me up from the gates of death,14That I may tell of 3all Your praises, That in the gates of the daughter of Zion I may 4rejoice in Your 5salvation.15The nations have sunk down 6in the pit which they have made; In the 7net which they hid, their own foot has been caught.16The Lord has 8made Himself known; He has 9executed judgment. In the work of his own hands the wicked is snared. 10Higgaion 11Selah.

17The wicked will 1213return to 14Sheol, Even all the nations who 15forget God.18For the 16needy will not always be forgotten, Nor the 17hope of the afflicted perish forever.1918Arise, O Lord, do not let man prevail; Let the nations be 19judged before You.20Put them 20in fear, O Lord; Let the nations know that they are 21but men. Selah.
