Psalms 131
Childlike Trust in the Lord.
A Song of Ascents, of David.
1O Lord, my heart is not 1proud, nor my eyes 23haughty; Nor do I 4involve myself in 5great matters, Or in things 6too 7difficult for me.2Surely I have 8composed and quieted my soul; Like a weaned 9child rests 10against his mother, My soul is like a weaned child 11within me.3O Israel, 12hope in the Lord 13From this time forth and forever.
