Psalms 103
Praise for the Lord’s Mercies.
A Psalm of David.
11Bless the Lord, O my soul, And all that is within me, bless His 2holy name.2Bless the Lord, O my soul, And 3forget none of His benefits;3Who 4pardons all your iniquities, Who 5heals all your diseases;4Who 6redeems your life from the pit, Who 7crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion;5Who 8satisfies your 9years with good things, So that your youth is 10renewed like the eagle.
6The Lord 11performs 12righteous deeds And judgments for all who are 13oppressed.7He 14made known His ways to Moses, His 15acts to the sons of Israel.8The Lord is 16compassionate and gracious, 17Slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness.9He 18will not always strive with us, Nor will He 19keep His anger forever.10He has 20not dealt with us according to our sins, Nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.11For as high 21as the heavens are above the earth, So great is His lovingkindness toward those who 22fear Him.12As far as the east is from the west, So far has He 23removed our transgressions from us.13Just 24as a father has compassion on his children, So the Lord has compassion on those who 25fear Him.14For 26He Himself knows 27our frame; He 28is mindful that we are but 29dust.
15As for man, his days are 30like grass; As a 31flower of the field, so he flourishes.16When the 32wind has passed over it, it is no more, And its 33place acknowledges it no longer.17But the 34lovingkindness of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who 35fear Him, And His 36righteousness 37to children’s children,18To 38those who keep His covenant And remember His precepts to do them.
19The Lord has established His 39throne in the heavens, And His 4041sovereignty rules over 42all.20Bless the Lord, you 43His angels, 44Mighty in strength, who 45perform His word, 46Obeying the voice of His word!21Bless the Lord, all you 47His hosts, You 48who serve Him, doing His will.22Bless the Lord, 49all you works of His, In all places of His dominion; Bless the Lord, O my soul!
