Psalms 101
The Psalmist’s Profession of Uprightness.
A Psalm of David.
1I will 1sing of lovingkindness and 2justice, To You, O Lord, I will sing praises.2I will 34give heed to the 5blameless way. When will You come to me? I will walk within my house in the 67integrity of my heart.3I will set no 8worthless thing before my eyes; I hate the 9work of those who 10fall away; It shall not fasten its grip on me.4A 11perverse heart shall depart from me; I will know no evil.5Whoever secretly 12slanders his neighbor, him I will 13destroy; No one who has a 14haughty look and an arrogant heart will I endure.
6My eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me; He who walks in a 1516blameless way is the one who will minister to me.7He who 17practices deceit shall not dwell within my house; He who speaks falsehood 18shall not 19maintain his position before me.820Every morning I will 2122destroy all the wicked of the land, So as to 23cut off from the 24city of the Lord all those who do iniquity.
