Psalms 126
Thanksgiving for Return from Captivity.
A Song of Ascents.
1When the Lord 1brought back 2the captive ones of Zion, We were 3like those who dream.2Then our 4mouth was filled with laughter And our 5tongue with joyful shouting; Then they said among the nations, “The Lord has 6done great things for them.”3The Lord has done great things for us; We are 7glad.
4Restore our captivity, O Lord, As the 89streams in the 10South.5Those who sow in 11tears shall reap with 12joyful shouting.6He who goes to and fro weeping, carrying his bag of seed, Shall indeed come again with a shout of joy, bringing his sheaves with him.
