Psalms 125
The Lord Surrounds His People.
A Song of Ascents.
1Those who trust in the Lord Are as Mount Zion, which 1cannot be moved but 2abides forever.2As the mountains surround Jerusalem, So 3the Lord surrounds His people 4From this time forth and forever.3For the 5scepter of wickedness shall not rest upon the 6land of the righteous, So that the righteous 7will not put forth their hands to do wrong.
48Do good, O Lord, to those who are good And to those who are 9upright in their hearts.5But as for those who 10turn aside to their 11crooked ways, The Lord will lead them away with the 12doers of iniquity. 13Peace be upon Israel.
