Psalms 88:9-14
9My 1eye has wasted away because of affliction; I have 2called upon You every day, O Lord; I have 3spread out my 4hands to You.
10Will You perform wonders for the dead? Will 5the 6departed spirits rise and praise You? Selah.11Will Your lovingkindness be declared in the grave, Your faithfulness in 7Abaddon?12Will Your wonders be made known in the 8darkness? And Your 9righteousness in the land of forgetfulness?
13But I, O Lord, have cried out 10to You for help, And 11in the morning my prayer comes before You.14O Lord, why 12do You reject my soul? Why do You 13hide Your face from me?
