Psalms 22:1-8

1 1 2My God, my God, why have You forsaken me? 3 4Far from my deliverance are the words of my 5 6groaning.2O my God, I 7cry by day, but You do not answer; And by night, but 8I have no rest.3Yet 9You are holy, O You who 10are enthroned upon 11the praises of Israel.4In You our fathers 12trusted; They trusted and You 13delivered them.5To You they cried out and were delivered; 14In You they trusted and were not 15disappointed.

6But I am a 16worm and not a man, A 17reproach of men and 18despised by the people.7All who see me 19 20sneer at me; They 21separate with the lip, they 22wag the head, saying,8“23Commit yourself to the Lord; 24let Him deliver him; Let Him rescue him, because He delights in him.”
