Psalms 132:2-11

2How he swore to the Lord And vowed to 1the Mighty One of Jacob,3“Surely I will not 2enter 3my house, Nor 4lie on my bed;4I will not 5give sleep to my eyes Or slumber to my eyelids,5Until I find a 6place for the Lord, 7A dwelling place for 8the Mighty One of Jacob.”

6Behold, we heard of it in 9Ephrathah, We found it in the 10field of 11Jaar.7Let us go into His 12 13dwelling place; Let us 14worship at His 15footstool.8 16Arise, O Lord, to Your 17resting place, You and the ark of Your 18strength.9Let Your priests be 19clothed with righteousness, And let Your 20godly ones sing for joy.

10For the sake of David Your servant, Do not turn away the face of Your 21anointed.11The Lord has 22sworn to David A truth from which He will not turn back: “23Of the fruit of your body I will set upon your throne.
