Psalms 132:2-11

2How he swore to the Lord And vowed to 1the Mighty One of Jacob,3“I certainly will not 2enter 3my house, Nor 4lie on my bed;4I will not 5give sleep to my eyes Or slumber to my eyelids,5Until I find a 6place for the Lord, 7A dwelling place for 8the Mighty One of Jacob.”

6Behold, we heard about it in 9Ephrathah, We found it in the 10field of 11Jaar.7Let’s go into His 12 13dwelling place; Let’s 14worship at His 15footstool.8 16Arise, Lord, to Your 17resting place, You and the ark of Your 18strength.9May Your priests be 19clothed with righteousness, And may Your 20godly ones sing for joy.

10For the sake of Your servant David, Do not turn away the face of Your 21anointed.11The Lord has 22sworn to David A truth from which He will not turn back: “I will set upon your throne one 23from the fruit of your body.
