Psalms 119:81-88
81My 1soul languishes for Your salvation; I 23wait for Your word.82My 4eyes fail with longing for Your 5word, 6While I say, “When will You comfort me?”83Though I have 7become like a wineskin in the smoke, I do 8not forget Your statutes.84How many are the 9days of Your servant? When will You 10execute judgment on those who persecute me?85The arrogant have 11dug pits for me, Men who are not 12in accord with Your law.86All Your commandments are 13faithful; They have 14persecuted me with a lie; 15help me!87They almost destroyed me 16on earth, But as for me, I 17did not forsake Your precepts.88Revive me according to Your lovingkindness, So that I may keep the testimony of Your mouth.
