Psalms 119:51-61

51The arrogant 1utterly deride me, Yet I do not 2turn aside from Your law.52I have 3remembered Your ordinances from 4of old, O Lord, And comfort myself.53Burning 5indignation has seized me because of the wicked, Who 6forsake Your law.54Your statutes are my songs In the house of my 7pilgrimage.55O Lord, I 8remember Your name 9in the night, And keep Your law.56This has become mine, 10That I 11observe Your precepts.

57The Lord is my 12portion; I have 13promised to 14keep Your words.58I 15sought Your favor 16with all my heart; 17Be gracious to me 18according to Your 19word.59I 20considered my ways And turned my feet to Your testimonies.60I hastened and did not delay To keep Your commandments.61The 21cords of the wicked have encircled me, But I have 22not forgotten Your law.
