Psalms 94:12-23

12Blessed is the man whom 1You chasten, O 2Lord, And 3whom You teach out of Your law;13That You may grant him 4relief from the 5days of adversity, Until 6a pit is dug for the wicked.14For 7the Lord will not abandon His people, Nor will He 8forsake His inheritance.15For 910judgment 11will again be righteous, And all the upright in heart 12will follow it.16Who will 13stand up for me against evildoers? Who will take his stand for me 14against those who do wickedness?

17If 15the Lord had not been my help, My soul would soon have dwelt in the abode of silence.18If I should say, “16My foot has slipped,” Your lovingkindness, O Lord, will hold me up.19When my anxious thoughts 17multiply within me, Your 18consolations delight my soul.20Can a 1920throne of destruction be allied with You, One 21which devises 22mischief by decree?21They 23band themselves together against the 24life of the righteous And 25condemn 26the innocent to death.22But the Lord has been my 27stronghold, And my God the 28rock of my refuge.23He has 29brought back their wickedness upon them And will 3031destroy them in their evil; The Lord our God will 32destroy them.
