Psalms 90:5-11
5You 1have 2swept them away like a flood, they 34fall asleep; In the morning they are like 5grass which 6sprouts anew.6In the morning it 7flourishes and 8sprouts anew; Toward evening it 9fades and 10withers away.
7For we have been 11consumed by Your anger And by Your wrath we have been 12dismayed.8You have 13placed our iniquities before You, Our 14secret sins in the light of Your presence.9For 15all our days have declined in Your fury; We have finished our years like a 16sigh.10As for the days of our 17life, 18they contain seventy years, Or if due to strength, 19eighty years, Yet their pride is but 20labor and sorrow; For soon it is gone and we 21fly away.11Who 22understands the 23power of Your anger And Your fury, according to the 24fear 25that is due You?
