Psalms 90:5-11

5You 1have 2swept them away like a flood, they 3 4fall asleep; In the morning they are like 5grass that 6sprouts anew.6In the morning it 7flourishes and 8sprouts anew; Toward evening it 9wilts and 10withers away.

7For we have been 11consumed by Your anger, And we have been terrified by Your wrath.8You have 12placed our guilty deeds before You, Our 13hidden sins in the light of Your presence.9For 14all our days have dwindled away in Your fury; We have finished our years like a 15sigh.10As for the days of our 16life, 17they contain seventy years, Or if due to strength, 18eighty years, Yet their pride is only 19trouble and tragedy; For it quickly passes, and we 20disappear.11Who 21understands the 22power of Your anger And Your fury, according to the 23fear 24that is due You?
