Psalms 90:3-10

3You 1turn man back into dust And say, “Return, O children of men.”4For 2a thousand years in Your sight Are like 3yesterday when it passes by, 4Or as a 5watch in the night.5You 6have 7swept them away like a flood, they 8 9fall asleep; In the morning they are like 10grass which 11sprouts anew.6In the morning it 12flourishes and 13sprouts anew; Toward evening it 14fades and 15withers away.

7For we have been 16consumed by Your anger And by Your wrath we have been 17dismayed.8You have 18placed our iniquities before You, Our 19secret sins in the light of Your presence.9For 20all our days have declined in Your fury; We have finished our years like a 21sigh.10As for the days of our 22life, 23they contain seventy years, Or if due to strength, 24eighty years, Yet their pride is but 25labor and sorrow; For soon it is gone and we 26fly away.
