Psalms 9:12-18

12For 1He who 2requires blood remembers them; He does not forget 3the cry of the afflicted.13Be gracious to me, O Lord; See my affliction from those 4who hate me, You who 5lift me up from the gates of death,14That I may tell of 6all Your praises, That in the gates of the daughter of Zion I may 7rejoice in Your 8salvation.15The nations have sunk down 9in the pit which they have made; In the 10net which they hid, their own foot has been caught.16The Lord has 11made Himself known; He has 12executed judgment. In the work of his own hands the wicked is snared. 13Higgaion 14Selah.

17The wicked will 1516return to 17Sheol, Even all the nations who 18forget God.18For the 19needy will not always be forgotten, Nor the 20hope of the afflicted perish forever.
