Psalms 89:27-37
27I also shall make him My 1firstborn, The 2highest of the kings of the earth.28My 3lovingkindness I will keep for him forever, And My 4covenant shall be confirmed to him.29So I will establish his 56descendants forever And his 7throne 8as the days of heaven.
30“If his sons 9forsake My law And do not walk in My judgments,31If they 10violate My statutes And do not keep My commandments,32Then I will punish their transgression with the 11rod And their iniquity with stripes.33But I will not break off 12My lovingkindness from him, Nor deal falsely in My faithfulness.34My 13covenant I will not 14violate, Nor will I 15alter 16the utterance of My lips.3517Once I have 18sworn by My holiness; I will not lie to David.36His 1920descendants shall endure forever And his 21throne 22as the sun before Me.37It shall be established forever 23like the moon, And the 24witness in the sky is faithful.” 25Selah.
