Psalms 89:27-37

27I will also make him My 1firstborn, The 2highest of the kings of the earth.28I will maintain My 3favor for him forever, And My 4covenant shall be confirmed to him.29So I will establish his 5 6descendants forever, And his 7throne 8as the days of heaven.

30“If his sons 9abandon My Law And do not walk in My judgments,31If they 10violate My statutes And do not keep My commandments,32Then I will punish their wrongdoing with the 11rod, And their guilt with 12afflictions.33But I will not 13withhold 14My favor from him, Nor deal falsely in My faithfulness.34I will not 15violate My 16covenant, Nor will I 17alter 18the utterance of My lips.35 19Once I have 20sworn by My holiness; I will not lie to David.36His 21 22descendants shall endure forever, And his 23throne 24as the sun before Me.37It shall be established forever 25like the moon, And a 26witness in the sky is faithful.” Selah
