Psalms 79:8-13

8 1Do not remember 2the iniquities of our forefathers against us; Let Your compassion come quickly to 3meet us, For we are 4brought very low.9 5Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of 6Your name; And deliver us and 7 8forgive our sins 9for Your name’s sake.10 10Why should the nations say, “Where is their God?” Let there be known among the nations in our sight, 11Vengeance for the blood of Your servants which has been shed.11Let 12the groaning of the prisoner come before You; According to the greatness of Your 13power preserve 14those who are 15doomed to die.12And return to our neighbors 16sevenfold 17into their bosom 18The 19reproach with which they have reproached You, O Lord.13So we Your people and the 20sheep of Your 21pasture Will 22give thanks to You forever; To all generations we will 23tell of Your praise.
