Psalms 79:5-12

51How long, O Lord? Will You be angry forever? Will Your 2jealousy 3burn like fire?64Pour out Your wrath upon the nations which 5do not know You, And upon the kingdoms which 6do not call upon Your name.7For they have 7devoured Jacob And 8laid waste his 9habitation.

810Do not remember 11the iniquities of our forefathers against us; Let Your compassion come quickly to 12meet us, For we are 13brought very low.914Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of 15Your name; And deliver us and 1617forgive our sins 18for Your name’s sake.1019Why should the nations say, “Where is their God?” Let there be known among the nations in our sight, 20Vengeance for the blood of Your servants which has been shed.11Let 21the groaning of the prisoner come before You; According to the greatness of Your 22power preserve 23those who are 24doomed to die.12And return to our neighbors 25sevenfold 26into their bosom 27The 28reproach with which they have reproached You, O Lord.
