Psalms 78:58-64
58For they 1provoked Him with their 2high places And 3aroused His jealousy with their 4graven images.59When God heard, He 5was filled with 6wrath And greatly 7abhorred Israel;60So that He 8abandoned the 9dwelling place at Shiloh, The tent 10which He had pitched among men,61And gave up His 11strength to captivity And His glory 12into the hand of the adversary.62He also 13delivered His people to the sword, And 14was filled with wrath at His inheritance.6315Fire devoured 16His young men, And 17His 18virgins had no wedding songs.6419His 20priests fell by the sword, And 21His 22widows could not weep.
