Psalms 69:21-36

21They also gave me 12gall 3for my food And for my thirst they 4gave me vinegar to drink.

22May 5their table before them become a snare; And 67when they are in peace, may it become a trap.23May their 8eyes grow dim so that they cannot see, And make their 9loins shake continually.2410Pour out Your indignation on them, And may Your burning anger overtake them.25May their 1112camp be desolate; May none dwell in their tents.26For they have 13persecuted him whom 14You Yourself have smitten, And they tell of the pain of those whom 15You have 16wounded.27Add 17iniquity to their iniquity, And 18may they not come into 19Your righteousness.28May they be 20blotted out of the 21book of life And may they not be 2223recorded with the righteous.

29But I am 24afflicted and in pain; 25May Your salvation, O God, 26set me securely on high.30I will 27praise the name of God with song And 28magnify Him with 29thanksgiving.31And it will 30please the Lord better than an ox Or a young bull with horns and hoofs.32The 31humble 32have seen it and are glad; You who seek God, 33let your heart 34revive.33For 35the Lord hears the needy And 36does not despise His who are prisoners.

34Let 37heaven and earth praise Him, The seas and 38everything that moves in them.35For God will 39save Zion and 40build the cities of Judah, That they may dwell there and 41possess it.36The 4243descendants of His servants will inherit it, And those who love His name 44will dwell in it.
