Psalms 59:7-15

7Behold, they 1belch forth with their mouth; 2Swords are in their lips, For, they say, “3Who hears?”8But You, O Lord, 4laugh at them; You 5scoff at all the nations.

9Because of 6his 7strength I will watch for You, For God is my 8stronghold.10 9My God 10in His lovingkindness will meet me; God will let me 11look triumphantly upon 12my foes.11Do not slay them, 13or my people will forget; 14 15Scatter them by Your power, and bring them down, O Lord, 16our shield.12 17On account of the 18sin of their mouth and the words of their lips, Let them even be 19caught in their pride, And on account of 20curses and 21lies which they utter.13 22 23Destroy them in wrath, 24destroy them that they may be no more; That men may 25know that God 26rules in Jacob To the ends of the earth. Selah.14They 27return at evening, they howl like a dog, And go around the city.15They 28wander about 29for food And 30growl if they are not satisfied.
