Psalms 59:7-15
7Behold, they 1gush forth with their mouths; 2Swords are in their lips, For, they say, “3Who hears?”8But You, Lord, 4laugh at them; You 5scoff at all the nations.
9Because of 6his 7strength I will watch for You, For God is my 8refuge.109My God 10in His faithfulness will meet me; God will let me 11look triumphantly upon my enemies.11Do not kill them, 12or my people will forget; 1314Scatter them by Your power and bring them down, Lord, 15our shield.1216On account of the 17sin of their mouths and the words of their lips, May they even be 18caught in their pride, And on account of 19curses and lies which they tell.132021Destroy them in wrath, 22destroy them so that they will no longer exist; So that people may 23know that God 24rules in Jacob, To the ends of the earth. Selah14They 25return at evening, they howl like a dog, And prowl around the city.15They 26wander about 27for food And 28murmur if they are not satisfied.
