Psalms 56:5-13

5All day long they 1 2distort my words; All their 3 4thoughts are against me for evil.6They 5 6attack, they lurk, They 7watch my 8steps, As they have 9waited to take my 10life.7Because of wickedness, 11 12cast them forth, In anger 13put down the peoples, O God!

8You 14have taken account of my wanderings; Put my 15tears in Your bottle. Are they not in 16Your book?9Then my enemies will 17turn back 18in the day when I call; This I know, 19that 20God is for me.10In God, whose word I praise, In the Lord, whose word I praise,11In God I have put my 21trust, I shall not be afraid. What can man do to me?12Your 22vows are binding upon me, O God; I will render thank offerings to You.13For You have 23delivered my soul from death, 24Indeed 25my feet from stumbling, So that I may 26walk before God In the 27light of the 28living.
