Psalms 52:1-7
112Why do you 3boast in evil, O mighty man? The 4lovingkindness of God endures all day long.2Your tongue devises 5destruction, Like a 6sharp razor, 7O worker of deceit.3You 8love evil more than good, 9Falsehood more than speaking what is right. 10Selah.4You love all words that devour, O 11deceitful tongue.
512But God will break you down forever; He will snatch you up and 13tear you away from your tent, And 14uproot you from the 15land of the living. Selah.6The righteous will 16see and fear, And will 17laugh at him, saying,7“Behold, the man who would not make God his refuge, But 18trusted in the abundance of his riches And 19was strong in 20his evil desire.”
