Psalms 51:7-17
71Purify me 2with hyssop, and I shall be clean; 3Wash me, and I shall be 4whiter than snow.85Make me to hear 6joy and gladness, Let the 7bones which You have broken rejoice.98Hide Your face from my sins And blot out all my iniquities.
109Create 10in me a 11clean heart, O God, And renew 12a 13steadfast spirit within me.1114Do not cast me away from Your presence And do not take Your 15Holy Spirit from me.12Restore to me the 16joy of Your salvation And sustain me with a 17willing spirit.13Then I will 18teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners will 19be 20converted to You.
14Deliver me from 21bloodguiltiness, O God, 22the God of my salvation; Then my 23tongue will joyfully sing of Your righteousness.15O Lord, 2425open my lips, That my mouth may 26declare Your praise.16For You 27do not delight in sacrifice, otherwise I would give it; You are not pleased with burnt offering.17The sacrifices of God are a 28broken spirit; A broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise.
