Psalms 49:14-20

14As sheep they are appointed 1for 2Sheol; Death shall be their shepherd; And the 3upright shall rule over them in the morning, And their form shall be for 4Sheol 5to consume 6So that they have no habitation.15But God will 7redeem my soul from the 8power of 9Sheol, For 10He will receive me. Selah.

16Do not be afraid 11when a man becomes rich, When the 12glory of his house is increased;17For when he dies he will 13carry nothing away; His 14glory will not descend after him.18Though while he lives he 15congratulates 16himself-- And though men praise you when you do well for yourself--19 17He shall 18go to the generation of his fathers; They will never see 19the light.20 20Man in his 21pomp, yet without understanding, Is 22like the 23beasts that 24perish.
