Psalms 49:14-20

14Like sheep they sink down 1to 2Sheol; Death will be their shepherd; And the 3upright will rule over them in the morning, And their form shall be for 4Sheol 5to consume 6So that they have no lofty home.15But God will 7redeem my soul from the 8power of 9Sheol, For 10He will receive me. Selah

16Do not be afraid 11when a person becomes rich, When the splendor of his house is increased;17For when he dies, he will 12take nothing with him; His 13wealth will not descend after him.18Though while he lives he 14congratulates 15himself-- And though people praise you when you do well for yourself--19 16He will 17go to the generation of his fathers; They will never see 18the light.20 19Mankind in its splendor, yet without understanding, Is 20like the animals that 21perish.
