Psalms 48:1-8

11Great is the Lord, and greatly to be praised, In the 2city of our God, His 3holy mountain.24Beautiful in elevation, 5the joy of the whole earth, Is Mount Zion in the far north, The 6city of the great King.3God, in her palaces, Has made Himself known as a 7stronghold.

4For, lo, the 8kings assembled themselves, They passed by together.5They saw it, then they were amazed; They were 9terrified, they 10fled in alarm.611Panic seized them there, Anguish, as of 12a woman in childbirth.7With the 13east wind You 14break the 15ships of Tarshish.8As we have heard, so have we seen In the city of the Lord of hosts, in the city of our God; God will 16establish her forever. 17Selah.
