Psalms 44:8-13
8In God we have 1boasted all day long, And we will 2give thanks to Your name forever. 3Selah.
9Yet You 4have rejected us and brought us to 5dishonor, And 6do not go out with our armies.10You cause us to 7turn back from the adversary; And those who hate us 8have taken spoil for themselves.11You give us as 9sheep 10to be eaten And have 11scattered us among the nations.12You 12sell Your people 13cheaply, And have not 14profited by their sale.13You make us a 15reproach to our neighbors, A scoffing and a 16derision to those around us.
