Psalms 44:22-26
22But 1for Your sake we are killed all day long; We are considered as 2sheep to be slaughtered.233Arouse Yourself, why 4do You sleep, O Lord? Awake, 5do not reject us forever.24Why do You 6hide Your face And 7forget our affliction and our oppression?25For our 8soul has sunk down into the dust; Our body cleaves to the earth.269Rise up, be our help, And 10redeem us for the sake of Your lovingkindness.
