Psalms 42:6-11

6O my God, my soul is 1in despair within me; Therefore I 2remember You from 3the land of the Jordan And the 4peaks of 5Hermon, from Mount Mizar.7Deep calls to deep at the sound of Your waterfalls; All Your 6breakers and Your waves have rolled over me.8The Lord will 7command His lovingkindness in the daytime; And His song will be with me 8in the night, A prayer to 9the God of my life.

9I will say to God 10my rock, “Why have You forgotten me? Why do I go 11mourning 12because of the 13oppression of the enemy?”10As a shattering of my bones, my adversaries revile me, While they 14say to me all day long, “Where is your God?”1115Why are you 16in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me? 17Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him, The 18help of my countenance and my God.
