Psalms 42:6-11

6My soul is 1in despair within me; Therefore I 2remember You from 3the land of the Jordan And the 4peaks of 5Hermon, from Mount Mizar.7Deep calls to deep at the sound of Your waterfalls; All Your 6breakers and Your waves have passed over me.8The Lord will 7send His goodness in the daytime; And His song will be with me 8in the night, A prayer to 9the God of my life.

9I will say to God 10my rock, “Why have You forgotten me? Why do I go about 11mourning 12because of the 13oppression of the enemy?”10As a shattering of my bones, my adversaries taunt me, While they 14say to me all day long, “Where is your God?”11 15Why are you 16in despair, my soul? And why are you restless within me? Wait for God, for I will again praise 17Him For the 18help of His presence, my God.
