Psalms 40:13-17
131Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me; Make 2haste, O Lord, to help me.14Let those be 3ashamed and humiliated together Who 4seek my 5life to destroy it; Let those be turned back and dishonored Who delight 6in my hurt.15Let those 7be 8appalled because of their shame Who 9say to me, “Aha, aha!”1610Let all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; Let those who love Your salvation 11say continually, “The Lord be magnified!”17Since 12I am afflicted and needy, 1314Let the Lord be mindful of me. You are my help and my deliverer; Do not delay, O my God.
