Psalms 40:13-17
131Be pleased, Lord, to rescue me; 2Hurry, Lord, to help me.14May those be 3ashamed and humiliated together Who 4seek my 5life to destroy it; May those be turned back and dishonored Who delight 6in my hurt.15May those 7be 8appalled because of their shame Who 9say to me, “Aha, aha!”1610May all who seek You rejoice and be glad in You; May those who love Your salvation continually 11say, “The Lord be exalted!”17But 12I am afflicted and needy; 13May the Lord be mindful of me. You are my help and my savior; Do not delay, my God.
