Psalms 37:32-40

32The 1wicked spies upon the righteous And 2seeks to kill him.33The Lord will 3not leave him in his hand Or 4let him be condemned when he is judged.34 5Wait for the Lord and keep His way, And He will exalt you to inherit the land; When the 6wicked are cut off, you will see it.

35I have 7seen a wicked, violent man Spreading himself like a 8luxuriant 9tree in its native soil.36Then 10he passed away, and lo, he 11was no more; I sought for him, but he could not be found.37Mark the 12 13blameless man, and behold the 14upright; For the man of peace will have a 15 16posterity.38But transgressors will be altogether 17destroyed; The 18posterity of the wicked will be 19cut off.39But the 20salvation of the righteous is from the Lord; He is their strength 21in time of trouble.40 22The Lord helps them and delivers them; He 23delivers them from the wicked and saves them, Because they 24take refuge in Him.
