Psalms 34:1-22

1 1 2I will 3bless the Lord at all times; His 4praise shall continually be in my mouth.2My soul will 5make its boast in the Lord; The 6humble will hear it and rejoice.3O 7magnify the Lord with me, And let us 8exalt His name together.

4I 9sought the Lord, and He answered me, And 10delivered me from all my fears.5They 11looked to Him and were radiant, And their faces will 12never be ashamed.6This 13poor man cried, and 14the Lord heard him And saved him out of all his troubles.7The 15angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, And rescues them.

8O 16taste and see that the Lord is good; How 17blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!9O fear the Lord, you 18His saints; For to those who fear Him there is 19no want.10The young lions do lack and suffer hunger; But they who seek the Lord shall 20not be in want of any good thing.11 21Come, you children, listen to me; 22I will teach you 23the fear of the Lord.12 24Who is the man who desires life And loves length of days that he may 25see good?13Keep 26your tongue from evil And your lips from speaking 27deceit.14 28Depart from evil and do good; Seek peace and 29pursue it.

15The 30eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous And His ears are open to their cry.16The 31face of the Lord is against evildoers, To 32cut off the memory of them from the earth.17The righteous 33cry, and the Lord hears And delivers them out of all their troubles.18The Lord 34is near to the 35brokenhearted And saves those who are 36 37crushed in spirit.

19 38Many are the 39afflictions of the righteous, But the Lord 40delivers him out of them all.20He keeps all his bones, 41Not one of them is broken.21 42Evil shall slay the wicked, And those who hate the righteous will be 43condemned.22The Lord 44redeems the soul of His servants, And none of those who 45take refuge in Him will be 46condemned.
