Psalms 32:1-11
112How blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered!2How blessed is the man to whom the Lord 3does not impute iniquity, And in whose spirit there is 4no deceit!
3When 5I kept silent about my sin, 6my 7body wasted away Through my 89groaning all day long.4For day and night 10Your hand was heavy upon me; My 1112vitality was drained away as with the fever heat of summer. 13Selah.5I 14acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I 15did not hide; I said, “16I will confess my transgressions to the Lord”; And You 17forgave the 18guilt of my sin. Selah.6Therefore, let everyone who is godly pray to You 1920in a time when You may be found; Surely 21in a flood of great waters they will not reach him.7You are 22my hiding place; You 23preserve me from trouble; You surround me with 2425songs of deliverance. Selah.
8I will 26instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you 27with My eye upon you.9Do not be 28as the horse or as the mule which have no understanding, Whose trappings include bit and bridle to hold them in check, Otherwise they will not come near to you.10Many are the 29sorrows of the wicked, But 30he who trusts in the Lord, lovingkindness shall surround him.11Be 31glad in the Lord and rejoice, you righteous ones; And shout for joy, all you who are 32upright in heart.
