Psalms 3:1-8
11O Lord, how 2my adversaries have increased! Many are rising up against me.2Many are saying 3of my soul, “There is no 45deliverance for him in God.” 6Selah.
3But You, O Lord, are 7a shield about me, My 8glory, and the One who 9lifts my head.4I was crying to the Lord with my voice, And He 10answered me from 11His holy 12mountain. Selah.513I 14lay down and slept; I awoke, for the Lord sustains me.6I will 15not be afraid of ten thousands of people Who have 16set themselves against me round about.
717Arise, O Lord; 18save me, O my God! For You 19have 20smitten all my enemies on the 21cheek; You 22have 23shattered the teeth of the wicked.82425Salvation belongs to the Lord; Your 26blessing 27be upon Your people! Selah.
