Psalms 27:1-6

1The Lord is my 1light and my 2salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the 34defense of my life; 5Whom shall I dread?2When evildoers came upon me to 6devour my flesh, My adversaries and my enemies, they 7stumbled and fell.3Though a 8host encamp against me, My heart will not fear; Though war arise against me, In spite of this I 9shall be 10confident.

411One thing I have asked from the Lord, that I shall seek: That I may 12dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, To behold 13the 14beauty of the Lord And to 1516meditate in His temple.5For in the 17day of trouble He will 18conceal me in His 19tabernacle; In the secret place of His tent He will 20hide me; He will 21lift me up on a rock.6And now 22my head will be lifted up above my enemies around me, And I will offer in His tent 23sacrifices 24with shouts of joy; I will 25sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord.
