Psalms 2:4-12

4He who 1sits in the heavens 2laughs, The Lord 3scoffs at them.5Then He will speak to them in His 4anger And 5terrify them in His fury, saying,6“But as for Me, I have 6installed 7My King Upon Zion, 8My holy mountain.”

7“I will surely tell of the 9decree of the Lord: He said to Me, ‘You are 10My Son, Today I have begotten You.8Ask of Me, and 11I will surely give 12the 13nations as Your inheritance, And the very 14ends of the earth as Your possession.9You shall 1516break them with a 17rod of iron, You shall 18shatter them like 19earthenware.’”

10Now therefore, O kings, 20show discernment; Take warning, O 21judges of the earth.1122Worship the Lord with 2324reverence And rejoice with 25trembling.1226Do homage to 27the Son, that He not become angry, and you perish in the way, For 28His wrath may 29soon be kindled. How blessed are all who 30take refuge in Him!
