Psalms 2:4-12

4He who 1sits in the heavens 2laughs, The Lord 3scoffs at them.5Then He will speak to them in His 4anger And 5terrify them in His fury, saying,6“But as for Me, I have installed 6My King Upon Zion, 7My holy mountain.”

7“I will announce the 8decree of the Lord: He said to Me, ‘You are 9My Son, Today I have fathered You.8Ask it of Me, and 10I will certainly give 11the 12nations as Your inheritance, And the 13ends of the earth as Your possession.9You shall 14 15break them with a 16rod of iron, You shall 17shatter them like 18earthenware.’”

10Now then, you kings, 19use insight; Let yourselves be instructed, you 20judges of the earth.11Serve the Lord with 21 22reverence And rejoice with 23trembling.12 24Kiss 25the Son, that He not be angry and you perish on the way, For 26His wrath may be kindled quickly. How blessed are all who 27take refuge in Him!
