Psalms 146:3-10

3 1Do not trust in princes, In 2mortal 3man, in whom there is 4no salvation.4His 5spirit departs, he 6returns to 7the earth; In that very day his 8thoughts perish.5How 9blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, Whose 10hope is in the Lord his God,6Who 11made heaven and earth, The 12sea and all that is in them; Who 13keeps 14faith forever;7Who 15executes justice for the oppressed; Who 16gives food to the hungry. The Lord 17sets the prisoners free.

8The Lord 18opens the eyes of the blind; The Lord 19raises up those who are bowed down; The Lord 20loves the righteous;9The Lord 21 22protects the 23strangers; He 24 25supports the fatherless and the widow, But He 26thwarts 27the way of the wicked.10The Lord will 28reign forever, Your God, O Zion, to all generations. 29Praise 30the Lord!
