Psalms 146:3-10

3 1Do not trust in noblemen, In 2mortal 3man, in whom there is 4no salvation.4His 5spirit departs, he 6returns to 7the earth; On that very day his 8plans perish.5 9Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob, Whose 10hope is in the Lord his God,6Who 11made heaven and earth, The 12sea and everything that is in them; Who 13keeps 14faith forever;7Who 15executes justice for the oppressed; Who 16gives food to the hungry. The Lord 17frees the prisoners.

8The Lord 18opens the eyes of those who are blind; The Lord 19raises up those who are bowed down; The Lord 20loves the righteous.9The Lord 21watches over strangers; He 22 23supports the fatherless and the widow, But He 24thwarts 25the way of the wicked.10The Lord will 26reign forever, Your God, Zion, to all generations. 27Praise 28the Lord!
