Psalms 12:2-5
2They 1speak 2falsehood to one another; With 3flattering 4lips and with a double heart they speak.3May the Lord cut off all flattering lips, The tongue that 5speaks great things;4Who 6have said, “With our tongue we will prevail; Our lips are 7our own; who is lord over us?”5“Because of the 8devastation of the afflicted, because of the groaning of the needy, Now 9I will arise,” says the Lord; “I will 10set him in the safety for which he longs.”
