Psalms 107:10-16
10There were those who 1dwelt in darkness and in the shadow of death, 2Prisoners in 3misery and 4chains,11Because they had 5rebelled against the words of God And 6spurned the 7counsel of the Most High.12Therefore He humbled their heart with labor; They stumbled and there was 8none to help.13Then they 9cried out to the Lord in their trouble; He saved them out of their distresses.14He 10brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death And 11broke their bands apart.1512Let them give thanks to the Lord for His lovingkindness, And for His 13wonders to the sons of men!16For He has 14shattered gates of bronze And cut bars of iron asunder.
