Psalms 107:10-16

10There were those who 1lived in darkness and in 2the shadow of death, 3Prisoners in misery and 4chains,11Because they had 5rebelled against the words of God And 6rejected the 7plan of the Most High.12Therefore He humbled their heart with labor; They stumbled and there was 8no one to help.13Then they 9cried out to the Lord in their trouble; He saved them from their distresses.14He 10brought them out of darkness and 11the shadow of death And 12broke their bands apart.1513They shall give thanks to the Lord for His mercy, And for His 14wonders to the sons of mankind!16For He has 15shattered gates of bronze And cut off bars of iron.
