Psalms 106:40-43
40Therefore the 1anger of the Lord was kindled against His people And He 2abhorred His 34inheritance.41Then 5He gave them into the hand of the 6nations, And those who hated them ruled over them.42Their enemies also 7oppressed them, And they were subdued under their 8power.43Many times He would 9deliver them; They, however, were rebellious in their 10counsel, And so 11sank down in their iniquity.
